This weekend, the old Dallas Cowboys stadium in Irving, Texas was demolished.  The public was invited to watch and film the implosion of the stadium live.  Videos are all over Social networking sites like facebook but especially YouTube, where members of the public filmed the event and uploaded to the Internet.  You can see the stadium come down in the first video below.

Here is an interesting video, Woody Jang has put together a 2 minute video and tries to tell the biography and achievements through only using the iPad.  It is a good concept and make you think that Jobs really is a visionary and pioneer.  He has achieved a lot and his dreams are in use daily by all of us today, whether it be using mobile phones, listening to music, watching animation, movies or using our computers to work, view photos and much more.

Here is one to file under wacky and strange.  It is not a twitter app but a whole twitter APPliance!  It is a kettle that is connected to twitter and is supposed to tweet that the water is boiling in your fancy twitter WiFi kettle.

Graphic designers John Kumahara and Johnathan Bonnell decided it would be a good idea to bring all the iPad data and factoids into one place.  The result is a cool infographic.

In August of 2009, Nielson Polls reported that Internet users admitted that they were now spending about 17 percent of their surfing time on social networks. This time is up triple the amount from the 2008 poll. It was also discovered that 93 percent of kids in America from the ages of 12 thru 17 were on the Internet daily. Of that 93 percent 55 percent of them admitted that they belonged to a social network. With all this time being spent on the Internet, it would lead one to think about what kind of an effect it is beginning to have on the nucleus of families.

Yes, it has happened, twitter is well on it's way to getting a stable of "official" twitter apps for mobile devices.

Earlier it was reported that twitter acquired Tweetie, an iPhone app twitter client.  Official twitter iPhone app?  Check.

Famous iPhone hacker Geohot is still at it.  He has a post on his blog posting about the iPad being fully hacked, or jailbroken if you prefer.

What is the point you may ask?

This week, twitter investor Fred Wilson posted an article about the twitter ecosystem "filling in holes" where twitter inc. has not delivered a solution.  Basically, he says that there was a time and a place for this but now, that twitter is bigger, twitter should be filling some of it's own holes and giving solutions directly to customers.
