Default Facebook's Friends You May Know Feature

I've got to say, this is one of the best features that Facebook has ever implemented. For those of you unfamiliar with it, it's essentially a sidebar block that displays friends who are likely to know you - meaning that they are friends of several people who are already on your friends list.

Since I started actively using this feature, I've doubled my friends list (approaching 500), primarily by tracking down old cl***mates who hadn't joined my school's alumnai group.

This is the kind of intelligent design that we need to see more of. Although Facebook often recommends friends I don't know, it also often serves up friends who I don't know, but should. More than once I've met a person offline whose name I've seen on Facebook's "Friends You May Know" block.

What other sites have functionality like this?
