RIM's Blackberry is on a role lately.  It was revealed a few days ago that Blackberry has made the top 5 global mobile phone vendor list.  In the first quarter of 2010, they had 3.6% global marketshare, shipped 10.6 million phones and were up 45.2% year on year.  They came in behind Nokia, Samsung and LG (107, 64 and 27 million units respectively).  RIM narrowly beat Sony Ericsson in Q1 2010 who sold 10.5 million units.

Linkedin, the professional and business social network,  has announced the launch of their Linkedin mobile Blackberry app.  Blackberry is well known to have a high concentration of business users due to the messaging and security features that companies (and their employees) love.  Marrying Blackberry business users and Linkedin's business minded social networking should be a perfect match.

Speculation on the street is rife today on whether these screenshots (posted by bbleaks) could be of the new Blackberry OS v6.0 or not.  There are not many details out there just yet about what RIM is planning on releasing for Blackberry's next generation mobile operating system.

Everyone loves to have photos of their family and friends so they can show off important moments of their lives or just to bring back fond and fun memories. And if possible having videos to bring memories is also a nice thing to have easy and quick access to. And if it's not the family it might be pictures of places and videos of your favorite songs. Whatever the reason, your Blackberry can be equipped with apps that can help you display your fondest photos and videos, as well as apps that can help you express yourself creatively or anything to do with video viewing an enjoyment.

Owning a Blackberry can be a lot more fun when you realize that it can be used for a lot more than a phone or text messaging someone. There are, for those, who love to play games, a lot of different games that you can download to your Blackberry and all of these particular games are all free of charge. What could be better than that?

So, let's check out some of the games that the Blackberry can add to its many other functions that you have it set up to do. Remember, they don't call it a "smartphone" for nothing.

It is always nice to know how to get where you need to go. Ok, maybe it is essential! Blackberry has a ton of different apps that can help you find where you need to go. These apps are both free and paid (mostly free) and should fill the needs of anyone who is looking for a navigational app that suits their particular needs.
