Social networking sites were not always known in every household like they are today. It wasn’t a part of one’s daily routine to get up, get coffee, go for morning jog, and then update their latest post on their profile. But the trend started shortly after the creation and launch of MySpace, one of the first and original social networks sites for public use.

Myspace has teamed up with Yahoo and Intel to produce a widget that will allow you to communicate with your Myspace friends - through your television. Allow me to join in the many, many voices predicting this widget's immediate demise.

The widget will allow Myspace users to receive updates on their friends activities, as well as instant messages, without using a browser. These updates will appear on user's TV's. Users will use a remote control to access Myspace, and....here's the best part: they can send messages to their friends using an on-screen keyboard.
