Who Are The 5 Funniest People on Twitter?

Brevity is the soul of wit. At least, that's what Shakespeare tried to teach us - and he wasn't particularly brief about it. What would the poet have thought of Twitter, where every joke is 140 characters or less? We'll take a look at the funniest people on Twitter, the folks who put the "wit" in "twit," and the people largely responsible for my flagging productivity at work (actually, one of them is a cat).

The Funniest Tweeple I Know

5) The Mime

You'd think, after a while, a mime who posts silent tweets would start to get boring or not-funny. It doesn't.

4) Fake Sarah Palin

Is it strange that I like Fake Sarah Palin 10x more than real Sarah Palin, or that I sometimes forget that they're not the same person?

3) Darth Vader

I think Darth Vader might actually be authorized by Lucasfilm. Official or not, Darth Vader will give you a hilarious look into the twisted mind of science fiction's greatest villain.

2) Sockamillion

That's right, Sockington is cat. Do you have a problem with that? 'Cause he'll mess you up if you do.

1) Michael Ian Black

Why do I think Michael Ian Black is the funniest person on Twitter? Well, his Twitter background image shows him putting a Pegasus in a headlock. Need I say more?

Hey Guys:

I would like you to check out this Twitter follower which I stumbled across a few days ago.

His twitter is @JustinBaney and I'm impressed.

His humor is only for those who are open-minded and will get it for the joke value and nothing else. For example, his jokes can be seen as racist, but not if you really see that he is making fun of all races, even his own. Not everything is racist, and there are probably more fart jokes then that. He throws a fart joke out there once in awhile when his tweets have a "thought processes" overload. By that I mean that he has some jokes that require thinking, but are great! By the way: For the most part his jokes tend to be for the 18+, for he is 23, I think he said.

Try him out, and if you think he's funny, He's very good about following back to someone who RT's him, FF's him, and even @replies him.

His description is: "Comedian, Writer, Diet Procrastinator."

He is funny because he is so cocky as he bluntly asks his followers questions like "Do You have big ears? Well guess what? I do. "Do you remember me? I hope you do because I am very smart and very funny." When a follower said "Thank you man." He came back with "You're welcome woman." When someone isn't a follower, he asks "Why don't you like me? For a quick laugh follow newlywedsontjob. This guy put sensors in his buddy's bed that register every time him and his new wife do the deed, how long and how intense it was. It's quite and elaborate joke.
