Thousands of Twitter users logged on to the Twitter website today to discover that they had become, as if by magic, suddenly included in the ever-widening Project Retweet beta, which is Twitter's attempt to build retweets into the native architecture of Twitter. It's been quite some time since we head from Twitter about the status of the much-anticipated "Project Retweet," Twitter's plan to build Retweets into the Twitter architecture, as opposed to the homespun Retweet solutions people are currently using.
